Henry Cowles

Henry Cowles has kindly agreed to have a discussion with graduate students and members of the CSTMS Working Groups regarding his article, “Focus: Bounded Rationality and the History of Science.” If you are pressed for time please read the Introduction, “Hypothesis Bound: Trial and Error in the Nineteenth Century” by Henry Cowles, and “Simon and the Sirens: A Commentary” by Lorraine Daston.
