Research Areas

My primary research and professional experience explore modern North American land management agencies and the role they have on environmental sciences and the environment. I am interested in the development of these sciences and their implementation on the land. My scholarship also covers the social, cultural, and political impact of land management.

My secondary field of study is the development of medicine in post-WWII America. I am interested in how medical communities received and applied new technologies, systems, and ideologies to the public.
