Joseph Klett is a sociologist of culture and technology. His research focuses on sonic interactions between people, places, and things in social organizations. He is currently completing a book manuscript on the social reproduction of perception within audio engineering and music education. His work has appeared in the journals Sociological Theory and Cultural Sociology, as well as a chapter in the forthcoming book Algorithmic Cultures (Routledge). Before joining CHF, Joseph was a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
