Call for Applications: Lectureship in History of Science 2013-2014

The Department of History at the University of California, Berkeley seeks a non-tenure-track instructor for four courses on the history of science during the academic year 2013-14. Candidates able to teach two upper-division courses among history of American science, environmental history, or history of the life sciences are especially encouraged to apply. Along with undergraduate teaching, the successful candidate will develop materials for and coordinate the History Department’s offerings for Cal Teach, supporting math, science, and engineering students interested in becoming K-12 math and science teachers. Position starts July 1, 2013. Ph.D. or equivalent required at the time of appointment. Salary is dependent on qualifications.
