Indra’s Net Theater presents Darwin in Malibu by Crispin Whittell, directed by Bruce Coughran. This smart, funny play presents a different angle on the evolution debate: this one from the deck of Darwin’s beach house in Malibu, where he prefers a fruit smoothie and a walk on the beach to talk about the Royal Society days. But the revolution Darwin started may not leave him in peace, and the sands and surf may not be all that stable after all, when the question of mortality is all too real.
