The presenter for the upcoming workshop on March 19th will be Ximeng Chen, a CSTMS Visiting Scholar and Associate Professor/Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Philosophy. She will be presenting her draft: “From Data to Decisions: Assessing the Feasibility and Rationality of Human-in-the-Loop for AI Value Alignment.”

The STS/HST workshops focus on providing a safe and relaxed atmosphere for all to present their research, get feedback, and build an interdisciplinary community of visiting scholars, visiting student researchers, and graduate students across UC Berkeley. The workshops will be held bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 470 Stephens Hall between 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
