My research is situated in the areas of comparative public policy and the social study of regulatory science. I am particularly interested in the intersection of emergent technology, policy design and political economy in North American and European polities, at the sub-national, national, and supra-national levels. My dissertation compared the evolution of biofuel policy in the United States, Germany and the European Union starting from debates in the early twentieth century up to 2014.
