My research concerns human lives and clinical research. I draw from theories in science studies and medical anthropology, read histories of medicine, and track machinations in health policy. I am working toward a dissertation about the development and implementation of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), especially its implications for the future of HIV prevention, bioethics, and intimate relationships. This work is supported by the National Science Foundation.
