I am a third year PhD student in UC Berkeley’s Department of City and Regional Planning, with interests in urban planning in the Global South, post-conflict urban change, technology transfer and green cities, and dimensions of urban sustainability in Sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia. I have a background in Public Health, Social Anthropology, and African Studies, have held a Rhodes Scholarship, and worked at the World Bank Group for four years: on health policy, and results/measurement for a large investment climate program. My research experience includes work on transitional justice in Rwanda and pandemic preparedness in Kenya.
