The presenter for the upcoming working group on October 15th will be Nathaniel Comfort, Professor, History of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University and Visiting Professor at the Center for Science, Technology, Medicine & Society, UC Berkeley. For this seminar, he will be discussing a chapter from his forthcoming biography of James Watson, working title: "Too Good for Government Work."
The STS/HST workshops aim to create a safe and relaxed atmosphere where all can present their research, receive feedback, and build an interdisciplinary community of visiting scholars, visiting student researchers, and graduate students across UC Berkeley.
