The presenter for the upcoming working group on May 13th will be Elizabeth Fetterolf, PhD Candidate at Stanford University, Department of Communication. For this seminar, she will be discussing her work provisionally titled: "The Human Talking Machine: Gender, Labor, and Spectacle at the 1939 Voder Exhibition."
The STS/HST workshops aim to create a safe and relaxed atmosphere where all can present their research, receive feedback, and build an interdisciplinary community of visiting scholars, visiting student researchers, and graduate students across UC Berkeley.
