The presenter for the upcoming working group on October 28th will be Farnam Mohebi, PhD Candidate, Management of Organizations, Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley; Designated Emphases in Science and Technology Studies and in the Sociology of Organizations and Markets. For this seminar, she will be discussing her work provisionally titled: "The Residual Human: What Artificial Intelligence Does to the Category of the Patient."
The STS/HST workshops aim to create a safe and relaxed atmosphere where all can present their research, receive feedback, and build an interdisciplinary community of visiting scholars, visiting student researchers, and graduate students across UC Berkeley.
