In my PhD research at the Munich Center for Technology in Society (Technical University of Munich) I investigate sociotechnical test bed settings and their role in innovation policy. I apply perspectives from Science and Technology Studies to explore how the envisioned mix of lab and demonstration project shapes emerging socio-technical configurations and how these sites are locally configured. My research discusses the potential changes in the relationship between innovation and society as proposed by the test bed mode of controlled experimentation.
Since 2015 I am also a research fellow at the Science Policy Research Group at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB), where I conduct qualitative data on sociotechnical innovation processes within the empirical domain of energy transitions. I hold a Master of Arts in Social Science from the Humboldt University in Berlin (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Law from Bielefeld University (2009).
