Pii Telakivi is a post-doctoral researcher in RADAR: Robophilosophy, AI ethics and Datafication Research at the University of Helsinki and a Fulbright Finland Junior Scholar in the Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. Her PhD focused on extended, embodied cognition and consciousness. Her current research connects the extended mind hypothesis to the philosophy of artificial intelligence and robotics, with particular attention to questions about the use of AI systems in healthcare and psychiatry. Her forthcoming book Extending the Extended Mind: From Cognition to Consciousness will be published by Palgrave-Macmillan in 2023.
