Mark your calendars for the Fall Reception on Thursday, September 9, at 4pm, as we invite you to join us as we begin a new academic semester! Reconnect with colleagues and meet the new graduate students, visiting scholars, and affiliates of CSTMS. We will be discussing our various Working Groups and highlighting this semester’s events. We will convene *with masks* in 470 Stephens for announcements from 4:15pm to 4:45pm. Afterward, we invite you to grab a snack and beverage and reconvene in Faculty Glade, just east of Stephens Hall (map at https://www.berkeley.edu/map?facultyglade), for a socially-distanced reception.

A note about safety: with all of the windows open, the ventilation in 470 Stephens is very good. Still, please only attend if you have been cleared to be on campus and can wear a mask for the full time you are indoors. If you are not able to attend, the same announcements and introductions will be made in our weekly newsletter in the coming weeks.
