Gano panelist at AAAS Communicating Science Seminar

CSTMS Associate Director of Research, Gretchen Gano is a panelist at the AAAS 2016 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC from February 11-15. On Thursday, February 11, 2016 Gretchen will speak at the Communicating Synthetic Biology Seminar along with panelists Kristala Prather (MIT), Natalie Kuldell (BioBuilder Educational Foundation), and Dietram Scheufele (UWISC). Her talk, “Building Civic Engagement with Biological Engineering” focuses on how the context and performance of public engagement might be altered by the design of new institutional, programmatic, professional, and information interactions as a function of decision making about future uncertainties in science, engineering & society.
