CSTMS Affiliate and Journalism professor Elena Conis, along with graduate students Michael McCoyd and Jessie A. Moravek, have published an op-ed in the New York Times titled “What to Expect When A Coronavirus Vaccine Finally Arrives: Sobering lessons from the history of the polio vaccine.” The article provides insight on the potential challenges we may face should a vaccine for coronavirus be developed – and discusses how we might better prepare.
